FALL SPORTS
How can I register my child?
We are 100% electronic so you can do everything on this website. You can register your child online by going to the registration tab and filling out and signing the forms.
*In addition to these documents we will need a copy of the child's birth certificate (Football ONLY) and Greenville County physical form (Tackle Football only).
The forms can be can be emailed to sgswildcats@gmail.com.
*We accept cash, Venmo, pay with a card at the fields or checks--made payable to South Greenville Sports, Venmo (@sgswildcats). There is an option to pay online but please be aware that fees do apply when paying directly online.
What is included in the registration fee?
We include the following items for each division:
Flag: Game Jersey, Game Shorts and Game socks.
Cheer: Uniform, poms, socks, bow and participation award.
Tackle: Game Jersey, Game Integrated Pants, Game Socks, Helmet Decal, and participation award
*The organization also covers insurance fees, Greenville county fees, and referee fees.
What will I need to provide?
Flag: Mouth guard and cleats
Cheer: White shoes
Tackle: White helmet, practice jersey, practice pants, shoulder pads, cleats, and mouth guard
When will practices start?
Official practices will start Monday July 7th @ 6:30pm. Once official practices start they will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday @ 6:30pm-8:30pm. (Times and days may vary for Cheer and Flag)
When will the season start and when do they play?
The Flag season--TBA. Please follow our Facebook page and website for updates. They will play Monday, Tuesday or Thursday night.
The Tackle season will start August 23rd. 8U typically plays on Saturdays but could play occasionally during the week. 10U and 12U typically plays on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday night, however 10U could have a Saturday game.
When is the schedule released?
Greenville County will release the schedule August 18th and we will get it posted as soon as we have it.
Once games start will the practice schedule change?
Yes. Once games start practices may change slightly (TBD by the coach).
Who runs the organization and how can I talk to them?
SGS is ran by a board of volunteers. The board meets every month via Zoom or in-person and any parent/guardian in the organization is able to join at any time. Parents/guardians are encouraged to take an active role in the organization and are welcome to bring their feedback to any board meeting.
